Køge Art Museum of Sketches is Denmark's special museum of preparatory artistic work, holding a collection of more than 10.000 sketches and models of work of art in public spaces, such as The Little Mermaid.   The top floor gallery - with a splendid view of Køge town and the bay- presents Bjørn Nørgaard's cartoons and sketches for Queen Margrethe II's gobelins at Christiansborg Palace, Copenhagen.   The 2nd floor gallery 23rd of February till 8th of June the Danish artist Claus Carstensen - sketches and models for site specific works and works in public spaces   The 1st floor gallery- The language of the body - sketches and models from our own collection.
